Why are 'romantasy' books suddenly everywhere, and what does this say about today's readers?

you cant really call them romance books because they are basically porn and porn in books is called smut a word that booktok and bookstagram use because they believe it isnt porn. Being fair porn in books or smut isnt AS bad as real porn because books are good obviously but still i dont like the idea of it. There are books that have nice romance abd it isnt even the main idea which is nice. I wouldnt say romantacy books are everywhere its just that its being ‘the big hit’ on booktok and bookstagram.
oh and blame the corrupt society and government that we live with thats always finding a way to make humanity worse and distracting them from becoming better.
In conclusion read romance not smut.
